ariel-dallas motorcycle restorationEstablished in 1902, with their headquarters located in Bournbroke, Birmingham, Ariel Motorcycles was responsible for manufacturing a number of popular bikes. They were also known for their bicycle manufacturing, which took place before they began to manufacture motorcycles and in 1902. Some of the popular motorcycles that were manufactured by Ariel Motorcycles included the Ariel 350 cc Red Hunter which was manufactured in 1938 and the Ariel 1000 Square Four. The Square four remains a popular bike in the vintage scene for its unique layout designed by Edward Turner, the designer of the legendary Triumph Speed Twin engine.
