SUNBEAM MOTORCYCLES

sunbeam-dallas motorcycle restorationThe Sunbeam Motorcycle Company, which was founded as Sunbeam, was originally responsible for the manufacturing of bicycles but eventually, beginning in 1903, motorcycle engines began to be manufactured and added to bicycles. Although it did not work out at that time, they did begin to develop automobiles in 1905 and eventually began producing motorcycles in 1912. They were single cylinder engine motorcycles, known as the “Gentleman’s Machine” and were popular choice among those who enjoyed riding motorcycles. They changed hands a number of times over the next decade or so, until eventually, in 1943, BSA purchased the rights to the name and started the Sunbeam Cycle LTD Company. They continued to manufacture a number of popular motorcycles until they stopped in the mid-1960s. Preservation Cycle can repair, restore and service your Sunbeam Motorcycle.
